Thanksgiving

Just wanted to give all of you a little info about Thanksgiving. We have ithe facility reserved Wed, Thurs, and Friday nights, November 26, 27 & 28. Check in is @ 2pm wed and check out is @ 1pm on sat. Below is some info from the pamphlet.

The place is called West Pine Creek Lodge and Camp. It is north east of Swan Valley Idaho. The lodge is 8400 sq ft. The 2-story lodge includes 76 single beds (bunk style) with mattresses, and 6 queen Size beds with mattresses, scattered amoung 3 large dorm rooms and seven smaller, private rooms. Twenty additional mattresses are provided with plenty of floor space available for additioinal sleeping areas. Bedding is NOT supplied.

The lodge food handling area includes a large kitchen with 2 stoves with ovens, 2 refrigerators, a microwave and an upright freezer and double sink with 18 feet of counter space. In addition, two 4 foot gas grills are provided on the kitchen end of the recreation room. There is adequate siverware and dishes available. Some pots and pans are also available. Chairs and tables to seat up to 150. The Rec room also has a large fireplace. (No fire wood provided)

There is a large recreation area below the Lodge (however, it may be covered in snow) that has softball field, volleyball courts, tether ball courts, archery range, air-rifle range, soccer field and swing set. The special attraction is a 100 ft slide leading from the Lodge down to the recreation area. Outdoor amphitheater equipped with electrical power and lights.

There are also camping sites with electrical hookups available.
